“Man is deeply vulnerable when faced with overwhelming evil.
Instead of consolidating his energy to fight it,
he wastes valuable time and effort puzzling over it,
insisting it is not, cannot possibly be, what it seems.”

– Konnilyn G. Feig

Editor’s Notes: I just posted and recommend watching Culture Project’s “Blueprint for Accountability: Working The Dark Side.” Combining live theater and journalism this program convenes a powerful panel for discourse on torture and the “War on Terror”. MSNBC host Rachel Maddow launched Culture Project’s “Blueprint for Accountability” series on May 31, 2009 ‘with a gripping evening on accountability and the U.S. policy of torture in the “War on Terror.” In this multi-media production fusing live theater and journalism, Maddow was joined by Pulitzer-Prize winning author Ron Suskind, Vince Warren of the Center for Constitutional Rights, and Lt. General Ricardo Sanchez, who commanded U.S. troops in Iraq during 2003-2004.’ I found the comments by Lt. General Sanchez revealing and hopeful that the full scope of the betrayal and treasonous acts against principles of the US Constitution and International Law are realized by some. His proposal for a Truth Commission could be our best chance to get to the truth and reclaim our truly lost or misguided USA democracy and republic. Note his response when confronted on why he did not take more actions against the war crimes at the time they happened. There were personal issues and the fact of how those were treated who spoke out. Sanchez said they were “eliminated.” Meanwhile, (also posted below) is an article on Obama still covering up the crimes of the past and present, punishing whistleblowers who have courageously revealed crimes against International Law and the US Constitution.

I think they’re worried about the Occupy movement
expanding. And I think that, in the end–and this is a
supposition–they don’t trust the police to protect
them, and they want to be able to call in the Army.
And if this bill goes into law, and it’s slated to go
into law in March, they will be able to do that.

“The evil that is in the world always comes of ignorance,
and good intentions may do as much harm as malevolence,
if they lack understanding. On the whole, men are more good
than bad; that, however, isn’t the real point. But they are more
or less ignorant, and it is that we call vice or virtue; the most
incorrigible vice being that of an ignorance which fancies it
knows everything and therefore claims itself the right to kill.”

About FlybyNews

Flyby News (FN) came out of the campaign to stop or expose the high risk NASA Cassini (plutonium) Earth flyby. FN's first campaign at the turn of the millennium was to prevent the expansion of the arms race and US domination of the planet with space-based weapons. Yet the theft of democracy in the US 2000 election, the Supreme Court appointment of George W. Bush as US President, and the events of September 11, 2001, led to the termination of the 1972 Ballistic Missile Treaty, along with many other actions of crimes against humanity and civil freedom. The exploitation and cover-up of September 11, 2001 led to illegal, deceptive wars, which has accelerated climate change, and the downfall of financial and social justice. Flyby News is educational and nonviolent in focus, and has supported critical campaigns for a healthy environment, human rights, justice, peace, and nonviolence, since the launching of NASA's Cassini space probe in 1997.
