The moon is about 240,000 miles away from Earth. The space shuttle has never gone more than 500 miles from our atmosphere. Except for Apollo astronauts, no human has ever claimed to have gone beyond low-earth orbit. When the space shuttle did get to an altitude of 400 miles, the radiation of the Van Allen belts and nuclear tests forced them to a lower altitude. In 1998 CNN reported: “The radiation belts surrounding Earth may be more dangerous for astronauts than previously believed. The phenomenon known as the ‘Van Allen Belts’ can spawn (newly discovered) ‘Killer Electrons’ that can dramatically affect the astronauts’ health.”

DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
During an interview with Stanley Kubrick’s widow an extraordinary story came to light. She claims Kubrick and other Hollywood producers were recruited to help the U.S. win the high stakes race to the moon. In order to finance the space program through public funds, the U.S. government needed huge popular support, and that meant they couldn’t afford any expensive public relations failures. Fearing that no live pictures could be transmitted from the first moon landing, President Nixon enlisted the creative efforts of Kubrick, whose 2001: a Space Odyssey (1968) had provided much inspiration, to ensure promotional opportunities wouldn’t be missed. In return, Kubrick got a special NASA lens to help him shoot Barry Lyndon (1975). A subtle blend of facts, fiction and hypothesis around the first landing on the moon, Dark Side Of The Moon illustrates how the truth can be twisted by the manipulation of images.

Was the Apollo Moon Landing Fake?
1) Sceptics argue that the lack of stars on Moon photographs is acceptable, despite zero atmosphere to obscure the view. Yuri Gagarin, pronounced the stars to be “astonishingly brilliant”. See the official NASA pictures above that I have reproduced that show ‘stars’ in the sky, as viewed from the lunar surface. And why exactly do you think there are hardly any stars visible on Apollo films taken from the Moon? The answers simple – Professional astronomers would quickly calculate that the configuration and distances of star formations were incorrect and so NASA had to remove them to make sure they could keep up the scam.
2) The pure oxygen atmosphere in the module would have melted the Hasselblad’s camera covering and produced poisonous gases. Why weren’t the astronauts affected?
3) There should have been a substantial crater blasted out under the LM’s 10,000 pound thrust rocket. Sceptics would have you believe that the engines only had the power to blow the dust from underneath the LM as it landed. If this is true, how did Armstrong create that famous boot print if all the dust had been blown away?
4) Sceptics claim that you cannot produce a flame in a vacuum because of the lack of oxygen. So how come I have footage on this page showing a flame coming from the exhaust of an Apollo lander? (Obviously the sceptics are wrong or the footage shows the lander working in an atmosphere)
5) Footprints are the result of weight displacing air or moisture from between particles of dirt, dust, or sand. The astronauts left distinct footprints all over the place.
6) The Apollo 11 TV pictures were lousy, yet the broadcast quality magically became fine on the five subsequent missions.
7) Why in most Apollo photos, is there a clear line of definition between the rough foreground and the smooth background?
8) Why did so many NASA Moonscape photos have non parallel shadows? sceptics will tell you because there is two sources of light on the Moon – the Sun and the Earth… That maybe the case, but the shadows would still fall in the same direction, not two or three different angles and Earth shine would have no effect during the bright lunar day (the time at which the Apollo was on the Moon).
9) Why did one of the stage prop rocks have a capital “C” on it and a ‘C’ on the ground in front of it?
10) How did the fibreglass whip antenna on the Gemini 6A capsule survive the tremendous heat of atmospheric re-entry?
11) In Ron Howard’s 1995 science fiction movie, Apollo 13, the astronauts lose electrical power and begin worrying about freezing to death. In reality, of course, the relentless bombardment of the Sun’s rays would rapidly have overheated the vehicle to lethal temperatures with no atmosphere into which to dump the heat build up.
12) Who would dare risk using the LM on the Moon when a simulated Moon landing was never tested?
13) Instead of being able to jump at least ten feet high in “one sixth” gravity, the highest jump was about nineteen inches.
14) Even though slow motion photography was able to give a fairly convincing appearance of very low gravity, it could not disguise the fact that the astronauts travelled no further between steps than they would have on Earth.
15) If the Rover buggy had actually been moving in one-sixth gravity, then it would have required a twenty foot width in order not to have flipped over on nearly every turn. The Rover had the same width as ordinary small cars.
16) An astrophysicist who has worked for NASA writes that it takes two meters of shielding to protect against medium solar flares and that heavy ones give out tens of thousands of rem in a few hours. Russian scientists calculated in 1959 that astronauts needed a shield of 4 feet of lead to protect them on the Moons surface. Why didn’t the astronauts on Apollo 14 and 16 die after exposure to this immense amount of radiation? And why are NASA only starting a project now to test the lunar radiation levels and what their effects would be on the human body if they have sent 12 men there already?
17) The fabric space suits had a crotch to shoulder zipper. There should have been fast leakage of air since even a pinhole deflates a tyre in short order.
18) The astronauts in these “pressurized” suits were easily able to bend their fingers, wrists, elbows, and knees at 5.2 p.s.i. and yet a boxer’s 4 p.s.i. speed bag is virtually unbendable. The guys would have looked like balloon men if the suits had actually been pressurized.
19) How did the astronauts leave the LEM? In the documentary ‘Paper Moon’ The host measures a replica of the LEM at The Space Centre in Houston, what he finds is that the ‘official’ measurements released by NASA are bogus and that the astronauts could not have got out of the LEM.
20) The water sourced air conditioner backpacks should have produced frequent explosive vapour discharges. They never did.
21) During the Apollo 14 flag setup ceremony, the flag would not stop fluttering.
22) With more than a two second signal transmission round trip, how did a camera pan upward to track the departure of the Apollo 16 LEM? Gus Grissom, before he got burned alive in the Apollo I disaster A few minutes before he was burned to death in the Apollo I tragedy, Gus Grissom said, ‘Hey, you guys in the control center, get with it. You expect me to go to the moon and you can’t even maintain telephonic communications over three miles.’ This statement says a lot about what Grissom thought about NASA’s progress in the great space race.
23) Why did NASA’s administrator resign just days before the first Apollo mission?
24) NASA launched the TETR-A satellite just months before the first lunar mission. The proclaimed purpose was to simulate transmissions coming from the moon so that the Houston ground crews (all those employees sitting behind computer screens at Mission Control) could “rehearse” the first moon landing. In other words, though NASA claimed that the satellite crashed shortly before the first lunar mission (a misinformation lie), its real purpose was to relay voice, fuel consumption, altitude, and telemetry data as if the transmissions were coming from an Apollo spacecraft as it neared the moon. Very few NASA employees knew the truth because they believed that the computer and television data they were receiving was the genuine article. Merely a hundred or so knew what was really going on; not tens of thousands as it might first appear.
25) In 1998, the Space Shuttle flew to one of its highest altitudes ever, three hundred and fifty miles, hundreds of miles below merely the beginning of the Van Allen Radiation Belts. Inside of their shielding, superior to that which the Apollo astronauts possessed, the shuttle astronauts reported being able to “see” the radiation with their eyes closed penetrating their shielding as well as the retinas of their closed eyes. For a dental x-ray on Earth which lasts 1/100th of a second we wear a 1/4 inch lead vest. Imagine what it would be like to endure several hours of radiation that you can see with your eyes closed from hundreds of miles away with 1/8 of an inch of aluminium shielding!
26) The Apollo 1 fire of January 27, 1967, killed what would have been the first crew to walk on the Moon just days after the commander, Gus Grissom, held an unapproved press conference complaining that they were at least ten years, not two, from reaching the Moon. The dead man’s own son, who is a seasoned pilot himself, has in his possession forensic evidence personally retrieved from the charred spacecraft (that the government has tried to destroy on two or more occasions). Gus Grissom was obviously trying to make a big statement as he placed a lemon in the window of the Apollo I spacecraft as it sat ready for launch!
27) CNN issued the following report, “The radiation belts surrounding Earth may be more dangerous for astronauts than previously believed (like when they supposedly went through them thirty years ago to reach the Moon.) The phenomenon known as the ‘Van Allen Belts’ can spawn (newly discovered) ‘Killer Electrons’ that can dramatically affect the astronauts’ health.”
28) In 1969 computer chips had not been invented. The maximum computer memory was 256k, and this was housed in a large air conditioned building. In 2002 a top of the range computer requires at least 64 Mb of memory to run a simulated Moon landing, and that does not include the memory required to take off again once landed. The alleged computer on board Apollo 11 had 32k of memory. That’s the equivalent of a simple calculator.
29) If debris from the Apollo missions was left on the Moon, then it would be visible today through a powerful telescope, however no such debris can be seen. The Clementine probe that recently mapped the Moons surface failed to show any Apollo artefacts left by Man during the missions. Where did the Moon Buggy and base of the LM go?
30) In the year 2005 NASA does not have the technology to land any man, or woman on the Moon, and return them safely to Earth.
31) Film evidence has recently been uncovered of a mis-labelled, unedited, behind-the-scenes video film, showing the crew of Apollo 11 staging part of their photography. The film evidence is shown in the video “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon!”. and appears above in the ‘Why Did Apollo 11 Astronauts Lie About Being In Deep Space?’ section.
32) Why did the blueprints and plans for the Lunar Module and Moon Buggy get destroyed if this was one of History’s greatest accomplishments?
33) Why did NASA need to airbrush out anomalies from lunar footage of the Moon if they have nothing to hide?

thank you liveedges.. i had to study this issue for a long while before coming out.. I hope this information gets looked at and expands.. especially for the next 5 years when the Apollo deceptions get to be 50 and the unanswered questions and observations remain.. I feel it may be the breaking point of the cascade of deceptions especially since JFK was assassinated. The following paragraphs were posted on my FB timeline with a link to this post:
President John F. Kennedy first challenged the US to reach the moon before the end of the 1960’s ‘not because it is easy, but because it is hard.’ But as Kennedy grew wiser he sought a cooperative endeavor with the USSR for a peace race. He wanted a joint mission to the moon with the Russians and to dismantle weapons and institutions of mass destruction. After Kennedy was killed, in 1964 a US General detonated a plutonium atomic bomb (2.5 times larger than the bomb used on Nagasaki) about 400 miles into space. These events begin to show the coup d’etat events, the impact and the stupidity of those claiming power over truth, justice, and peace.
I just wrote the following as a comment on a group focused on Chemtrails.. for those who watch the sky.. it seems so obvious, on and off, so there is frustration of so few willing to expose their experimental non-disclosed use of our atmosphere with dangerous chemicals. Geoengineering is a made-up science to help keep the polluters going.. but so much is out of whack.. So, the following pertains to what can we do.. what can we possibly do to pull the curtain back and see the little wizard approaching the world with wars on truth, and with fear rules..
The only one possible solution that I see for stopping chem-trails and excessive pollution is to stop the rolling empire of the military industrial complex.. now engaged in their free trade to exploit the world as much as possible in their short-sighted vision. This design to control and destroy has been in the works by elitists for centuries.. so although many will roll their eyes at the thought, after more than 15 years as an activist launched into space by the cassini-plutonium earth flyby and then to stop weapons from entering outer space, the path has left me with more understanding of the scope of the plot, and if we to pierce a hole in this monster, after more than 50 years of JFK cover-up, plus decades 9-11 false flag cover-up shenanigans, it may take a miracle to expose this one before its 50th anniversary in 2019.. and if you have a critical thinking mind, humility, and do the research, you, too, will become convinced of evidence of fraud-US 1969-1972 lunar missions. I think this understanding and awareness could possibly launch an awakening to enable direct democracy to take shape and work for the benefit of all.. Although we have another four years before Apollo’s 50th anniversary to begin awakening more people.. it is not an easy topic to get people to be at least skeptical about. It is something the government or anyone else has not proven in all these years.. since supposedly, 1972.. and there is plenty of evidence of betrayal and deceptions in a major way all throughout our lives. It seems hardwired into some people’s conditioning to believe in what they want to believe, or at least avoid thinking about what is.. It is the power of fear.. though most would not see it that way.. so a bit fear and a bit ego. Someone in my group (Dark Legacy – JFK and 9-11) and an expert JFK truth researcher responded in the following way when I inquired in a message asking if would research the following link, which is key in my mind to expose all the key actual conspiracies.. JFK, banking system, 9-11 and onward..
Here was his reply: “Jonathan, I worked at Grumman during the late 60s and saw the lunar module manufactured. I will not get into a debate with you on the Moon missions. They happened. It was not a hoax. That is all I will say on this matter. Don’t try to convince me. You can believe what you want.”
My friend Harry Jordan is resisting being skeptical, too, having had astronauts he worked with tell him firsthand that it did happen. When a cover-up is that powerful, where lying is policy, like the cover-up of JFK and 9-11, believing in something for most of our life, it shakes up everything in our belief systems, and fosters a profound humility; if we can see that we’ve been had, ultimately it will give us a sense of freedom to believe what one sees, and not what they show or tell us. “Life is a gift, freedom a responsibility.”
Many 9-11 truthers won’t go there either.. It is like they built their own “truth cocoon” to hang in.. and become so convinced in one truth.. they forgot to see how it is all connected.. for centuries.. and the deceptions are paramount now.. but 9-11 in one way is in the past, like JFK, decades ago… but science, truth, the power of the radiation belts and inability to survive them and beyond in the tin space cans the US claimed all those years ago is still in front of us.. That is if our space program will ever continue.. (and I hope so, since ancient civilizations built monuments for us, their future).
Some people will defend such a manufactured false truth to their dying day.. while not wondering why Russia could never or has never sent any of their astronauts beyond low orbit.. The moon hoax is nonsense. There were six moon missions, we never got caught faking it? Really? Facts prove we went to the moon. The history books say so, are they “in on it” too? People need better education on the landings I think it would be great if it was a hoax, but it’s fact. There is loads of misinformation and lies about the landings, and that’s all you need to supply a theorist with an unproven idea or theory.
I appreciate your commenting.. but I feel it did not address the strong evidence of what we are confronting today. Since 1972 not one astronaut has traveled beyond low Earth orbit. Studying this was the purpose of NASA’s 2014 Orion Mission, which orbited around Earth a couple thousand miles in an unmanned craft. Proof of a hoax will need to come from transparency of the Orion Mission, but most all space has been taken up by the military and their corporate sponsors. You’ll be happy to learn that your questions seem answerable. Taking the first five:
(1) The problem with seeing stars isn’t atmosphere but contrast – with eyes adapted to bright sunlight you won’t see stars, nor will your camera. Just try taking a photograph of the full moon with stars – the exposure is impossible so either you get a well-lit moon without stars or stars accompanied by a completely burnt-out spotlight. In fact you need to resort to manipulations such as HDR to get a nice photo – if the Apollo surface photos had stars this would be evidence of fakery.
And the positions of stars are effectively constant across the 185 million miles of the Earth’s orbit around the sun, so having the same stars in the background of lunar shots wouldn’t betray that the photographs weren’t taken from the moon just 238 thousand miles away.
(2) You’re saying that the plastic lens cap would oxidise quickly at room temperature in a pure oxygen atmosphere? That sounds absurd – the hazard is fire (which once started then burns just as hot as ever) – and even if it was true it would be simple to replace the lens cap with a different plastic stable in O2 atmosphere.

(4) Rockets carry both fuel and oxidiser, combusting them and generally producing a visible flame (except H2+O2). I’ve never heard anyone doubt this – a simple flame like a candle burning in a vacuum would be remarkable.
(5) Many dry powders have interesting structural properties – just play around with ordinary wheat flour and you’ll find that when lightly compacted (eg as it comes from a new bag) you can carve towers, tunnels, etc. When these are crushed the flour doesn’t then become more dense, i.e. you haven’t displaced air from it. These properties stem largely from electrostatic interactions between neighbouring particles.
So that’s a little amuse-bouche – digesting the rest of the list can wait for another time.
The question I have is how much longer will it take for you to be skeptical of the 6 Apollo missions claims, while it is over 4 decades since any human has claimed to leave low Earth orbit? Would you wait another 40 years? The proof is not in the explaining but in the doing. If you had the full facts from NASA’s Orion 2014 mission, you would understand why they CAN’T go into deep space and protect the astronaut.. Sorry, I missed your reply. I don’t see why the lack of repetition in the past 45 years should surprise anyone since it was a very expensive piece of superpower rivalry of no direct commercial or military significance. With the Soviet Union beaten to the goal, US taxpayers had made it clear that they wanted expenditure cut, so the final planned missions 18-20 were cancelled (which is why two complete Saturn V rockets are on display: the hardware was already mostly complete when the cancellation was decided). And so the matter has rested – other than renewed chest-beating there remains no compelling reason to send men back to the moon: scientific interest has never been the overriding motivation and robots can do much of the work for far less money and no risk of dead astronauts.

4.) Sceptics claim that you cannot produce a flame in a vacuum because of the lack of oxygen. So how come I have footage on this page showing a flame coming from the exhaust of an Apollo lander? (Obviously the sceptics are wrong or the footage shows the lander working in an atmosphere)

When you begin a communication by stating I am an idiot reflects on yourself, not me. People want to prove what they want to believe, and will selectively look for supporting such a narrow scope.. I will remain skeptical until I am shown how they could safely send a person into deep space safely. Not since 1972 has anyone claimed such a feat. Is technology going backwards? No.. computers can make missions much safer, but even today no one from Russia ever made the claim for leaving low Earth orbit, and when the US was going to go to the moon (supposedly again) beginning in 2004 with a billion bucks invested.. but they were not planning to get there until 2020.. In 2010 they canned the mission. And in 2014 the Orion mission began to look into how to send astronauts into outer space, but have not been successful.. You can believe what you want to believe.. but how long will you believe in what they say.. and not what they do.. and prove.. Many deceptions occurred in the 1960’s and ’70’s.. and the media supports disinformation and confusion.. and not transparency and truth.. I feel sorry for those who want to believe something so much that they attack with words those who may disagree with them… Let me know how long you plan to wait for the first claimed mission since 1972 to leave low earth orbit.. It is approaching a half a century.. it only took weeks for someone to follow up on Lindberg’s crossing the ocean by air.. 50 years.. and still a believer.. you probably believe Oswald was a long gunman that assassinated JFK too.. I hope you keep researching, but not just to prove what you want to believe.. but work harder to be more objective and weigh the body of evidence by deeds, not words of specific proof points that can be part of a cover-up.. they are good at that you know.. or maybe not..

This one is a fantastic example of the stupidity of the people that run this site.
1) Sceptics argue that the lack of stars on Moon photographs is acceptable, despite zero atmosphere to obscure the view. Yuri Gagarin, pronounced the stars to be “astonishingly brilliant”. See the official NASA pictures above that I have reproduced that show ‘stars’ in the sky, as viewed from the lunar surface. And why exactly do you think there are hardly any stars visible on Apollo films taken from the Moon? The answers simple – Professional astronomers would quickly calculate that the configuration and distances of star formations were incorrect and so NASA had to remove them to make sure they could keep up the scam.
The reason no stars appear in the photos or videos ? Well one star is visible, the sun, and on earth in daylight how many stars do you see ? The scientific ignorance of this site is astounding…
That’s because the earth has an atmosphere that produces a bright background which washes out the stars. At night the background is not lit up just like the moons would be day or night. Now who’s the big dummy, dummy.

If you did the smallest amount of research you’d find a good answer for all of your tired old Apollo hoax claims, these claims were mostly made years ago and they have all been rebuked, but like Creationism, they never die, because it’s easier to fool people into buying a cheap conspiracy theory than to convince them that they have been fooled by blatant scammers such as Bill Kaysing and Bart Sibrel. For instance, by now you should know that the tin aluminum shell of the Apollo capsule was more than sufficient to shield the astronauts from the Van Allen radiation belts, which by the way they only navigated on the outer skirts of, for a few hours only. The thin aluminum shielding was actually vastly more efficient for the charged particle radiation of the Van Allen belts than thick lead shielding, a material which would make the radiation problem worse. Here is an excellent Youtube video explaining = lNiscigIgBc. Are you ready to be convinced that you have been fooled? I assume not, but I am an old fool who has faith in humanity.
As Mark Twain was quoted as saying, “It is easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.” Until another beyond low Earth orbital flight takes place with transparency, yes, only fools believe in what they had been told happened with 1960’s technologies.. Some will go to their graves believing in what they heard or believed most of their life, or in what they want to believe.. the facts of reality is based on deeds.. Why don’t you come up with the measures taken of the radiation fields by NASA in 2014 in their unmanned mission called Orion. You will find so-called national security interests take precedence over truth or science.. Sure you can just research what you want to believe and find answers for an intellect that doesn’t require events to take place to back up such claims.. But actions speak louder than words.. And the actions of the Apollo military psychological operation one day will shock many.. Unfortunately I will not be shocked.. Yes, China landed an unmanned craft on the moon. There is no proof from what I have seen that they had found the dune buggy. I heard they did not. The Chinese lander (Chang’e 3) landed almost 1,000km from the nearest Apollo site (Apollo 15), actually rather nearer to the Russian Luna 17 landing site. Since the Chinese rover (Yutu) only travelled a few hundred metres before suffering a immobilising mechanical fault it certainly didn’t go visiting (nor was it ever expected to; the planned range was 10km)
Last manned mission beyond LEO was Dec 1972 (Apollo 17) so 45 years ago. I personally expect next one will be very rich tourists with SpaceX: NASA has no clear mission for the moon and the new rocket is basically an exercise in keeping existing govt contractors as busy as possible, rather than than starting with a clear requirement and then designing something to match it. The 8 tourism flights to the ISS showed that there’s a (small) market for individuals with tens of millions of dollars available and probably more prepared to take the associated risks than NASA.
